Being that it’s an older show I’m sure you can find it online. Hulu maybe? I definitely recommend it if you like Sci-Fi

Ahhh, Stargate. Low-budget Canadian Sci-Fi at its finest.

It filled its own niche in the Sci-Fi TV lineup to the juggernaut masterpiece that was Battlestar Galactica. Just like Dark Matter and Killjoys do today when compared to The Expanse.

(I like Stargate - particularly SG-1, though Atlantis was good too - like, several orders of magnitude more than BSG.)

You’re the only person I know who holds that opinion. I liked Stargate as well, but it doesn’t hold a candle to either BSG or Farscape which are my two favorite Sci-Fi network shows. If future seasons of The Expanse are as good as the first, that show will probably join the other two as well.

I’ve been enjoying The Expanse, and I love Farscape, but - certain episodes and scenes aside - BSG’s never done much for me. The general atmosphere and tone just weren’t particularly to my taste, and it was an early example of this whole, “All the characters are at each others’ throats basically all the time” phenomena that so permeates all modern television that even purports to take itself seriously.

I liked Stargate’s ‘TNG but with more wit’ sensibilities a great deal, however. It’s pretty much my second favourite TV show. (TNG’s in first. Babylon 5's probably third.)
